If Christmas is not exciting enough couple it with the word FREE and it is almost more than I can stand! So our friends at YouthMinistry360 have put together a FREE Christmas Bible Study. Here is the write up from their website:
At ym360 we are committed to equipping you with resources that are bible-focused, creative, and relevant. (To see our entire line of Bible Study resources, click here.) That’s why we’re excited to be able to give you a FREE Christmas Lesson, complete with PowerPoint.
Lesson Title>>> Vantage Points: A Christmas Lesson
Lesson Objective>>> The point of the lesson is that your students would accept the responsibility of being faithful witnesses of Christ’s to those whom they encounter in their world.
Scripture Focus>>> Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 2:8-20, Matthew 2:1-12
Overview>>> The Christmas story is one that is probably very familiar to your students. We have to make sure that this type of familiarity doesn’t lead them to miss the wonderful truths contained in the account of Jesus’ birth. Through this lesson, your students will look closer at the details of the Christmas account, but will also see the various approaches to Jesus represented by the specific people mentioned in the story: the shepherds, the magi, and King Herod. Your students will be challenged to examine how they see each of these different “reactions” represented in the world in which they live.
