Timing is everything. How many times have you heard that expression? It is a fact that comedians, quarterbacks, singers, and even auto mechanics all agree with. So it should not surprise us that God’s timing is perfect. Paul writes,
“But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.” Galatians 4:4-5
Have you ever pondered the reality of that verse? Our God who lives outside the bounds of time not only came into our world, he stepped into our time. In the grand plan of eternity, God knew exactly when he needed to send his Son. For me, this verse reminds me that a God who is not bound by time, cares about time, about my time, about my days, my hours, my minutes, and my years. This Christmas may you find hope for all your days knowing that the timeless God’s timing in our life is perfect.
