This time of year there are certain Bible verses that make me burst into song when I read them or hear them.  Today’s Bible verse is one of those verses. I have long been a fan of Handel’s Messiah and since so much of this great work revolves around the Christmas story there is much reason for singing.

Today my ponder, and advice is simple – go for it! When you see a verse like:

5  And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.” Isaiah 40:5

or like this:

4  Every valley shall be exalted And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough places smooth;Isaiah 40:4

or like this:

6  For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.Isaiah 9:6

crosses your path burst into song! Sing Loud and with feeling, and may the joy of this season be with you, and all who are listening!
