Tuesday Grace – April 2, 2019

I often complain that Easter gets the short end of the Holiday fanfare. For the Christian there is no more important day of the year than Easter, yet where is all the wonderful Easter music? Why aren’t the stores filled with Easter decorations? Why is it that we do not exchange Easter greetings with one another, we don’t even get a “Happy Holidays.”

Part of it might be the events that lead up to the holiday are not as warm and fuzzy as an Angels’ greeting (Luke 1:46) and a preborn baby jumping with joy (Luke 1:41). But the reality is that we would not remember any of those events, were it not for the resurrection.

So it’s time to bring out your Easter Calendar ( no advent calendars here) and prepare for the great celebration of Christ’s Resurrection. 19 days and counting!

For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead.
1 Corinthians 15:21 (ESV)

May your Tuesday be blessed with great Easter Expectations –
